The Samsung Galaxy On5 was launched in the United States in June 2016. This video was displayed on sample phones of the Samsung Galaxy On5 in many retail outlets in the United States. The objective was to create a loop video that would attract customers inside these stores to interact with the sample phones, as well as showcasing attractive features of the phone. Created with the team at Razorfish, I was responsible for selecting footages and designing each screen. A lot of efforts were spent on selecting the appropriate footages that convey the intended marketing message.
The footages feature people with Southern California lifestyles. Their actions also fit in well with the messages. The background footage remind viewers of the West Coast, by featuring iconic LA scenes, such as palm trees, convertibles, beaches. etc.
The backgrounds in the footage establish a Southern California setting, and maintains that setting throughout the video.
User interfaces were introduced in the video when showcasing features of the product.
